DOES ANYONE KNOW APPROXIMATLEY HOW MUCH I SHOULD SPEND ON A 3 PT HITCH FOR MY FARMALL 140. I'M ALSO LOOKING FOR A SNOW BLADE AND SOME REAR WHEEL WEIGHTS. ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE WELCOME. THANK YOU.

JAY

Jay: Before anyone quotes you on a 3 point hitch for a 140, he should know what hitching equipment you currently have. Do you have one point fast hitch or U type drawbar. And if you have a U type drawbar, do you have a rear rockshaft? Can't raise a 3 point hitch without a rear rockshaft. Got to know where you starting from, before quoting prices.

I fabricate and can sell you a 3 point hitch, but they cost more than Worksaver, they also lift 3 times as much weight.

Wheel weights are 145# each and you'll probably pay $0.50 to $1.00 per #.

The factory angle snow blade is 5' I sold my factory blade and fabricated a 6' angle blade. 5' is not wide enough if angle snow plowing, snow falls under the wheels.

Hugh-Are the 145# wheel weights the same that would have come stock on a 1957 model 130 International?
Thanks Buggy

Buggy: With the exception of hi clear tractors all rear wheel weights from first SA to last 140 are the same. The A weights are probably same as well, I'm just telling you what I know for certain.
