Posted a bunch of pics from the Mackinaw Bridge Antique Tractor parade last weekend. First group tocross was the Michigan Chapter 11 IH Collectors. Many other groups also present. Great Event !. Follow link for photos.

I never knew they had a tractor parade on the bridge. That would be a nice ride, if it wasn't too windy. I had to drive my semi down to Winn, by Mt Pleasant, and picked up a whole tree wood chipper, on the way back I had to wait for an escort across the bridge ( overwidth & overweight) so I a 15 MPH ride across. It is hard not to look around while crossing that slow!!
 
That looks like it was a lot of fun. I would have loved to do that, but Central Pa is a long ways from the Mackinc bridge unfortunately. I did have the oppurtunity to cross that bridge once while on vacation with my grandparents about 18 years ago, neat bridge.

I have one question. What make of tractor is the one with the bumper in the shots with the Chamberlain. I can't make out what it says on the grill.
 
The tractor next to the Chamberlain is also a Chamberlain, can"t tell you the model, but it has a bench seat, Perkins diesel, and gearing more favorable to raod travel. The big one has a 2 cyl. opposed gas engine, and I think a 3X3 tranny or a 4X3 tranny.

Thanks for sharing the cool pics, I've been across the bridge a few times, being on top of an M in the outside lane must feel like a 'Cary Grant' moment from [i:67685dc11f]Vertigo[/i:67685dc11f]. :lol:

Does the military vehicle club still ride the tank trails at Grayling?
