Does someone live near a good dealer?

I live far from the nearest dealer and have not had any luck there so far. I need a carb no. for my Hydro 70 gas, C291 engine, original Marvel Schebler carb. My tag is broken off.I believe the no. should be TSX-9xx SL. It has a fuel shut off solenoid on it. I need a throttle shaft for it. Maybe someone's dealer has an old book and can look it up. If I have the carb no. I think I can find a shaft.
 
Bruce: I have a good CaseIH dealer and will be there in next couple of days. I could ask.

Better than that, why not go to "CaseIH parts online". All those old parts books are now online. You can look it all up right from your computer chair.

I believe its on the case IH page. For model, use 291 and it will show specifically the C 291 motor, along with carbureator, etc. Good Luck!
 
Case IH shows Throttle Shaft Part Number 68108C91 used in conjunction with carb 67238C91 and carb 67335C91. This says for 666 and 686 tractors, so right time-frame. Maybe this will help, if not, hopefully you wil be able to find something. I think this is for the Marvel-Schebler. The other figues are labeled for a 706 and 756, while the other is labeled a Zenith.
