GAS LEAK ON H FARMALL

Simple question how do I stop the gas leaking out of the pit cock where you turn it off and on. Is there a O-ring in side of it or what do I do to fix it.

David, there should be a packing nut where you turn the valve on and off. Just try and tighten that nut a little and it should stop dripping. Good luck Mark.

If it will not tighten any (some are all the way tight already) take it loose and wrap 3 inches of Teflon tape that has been twisted into a thin rope around the shaft then put it back on to make a new operational seal. JimN

I TOOK IT OFF OF TANK AND TOOK IT ALL APART AND CLEANED IT ALL UP AND PUT IT BACK TOGETHER AND NO LEAK SO FAR THANKS GUYS
