three questions ... where is the serial number (located) to verify the year and how do I know from the serial number (the year and verify the model) and what would be the average value for a may-be a 1966 model (that is what the owner says the model-year is), and what could/would be the best case for compression pounds I could/would expect per cylinder on the tractor to make sure I am at least not getting a total lemon .. thanks ... doug

I think the SN plate is on the right side tranny housing just behind the bell housing.

on the left of this page under Research and info there is a SN list. I suppose the 414 is in there.
