I have an international ID-6 that needs a block because the original one froze out. I believe the tractor is a 1947 model and would basically be the same as a WD-6. I have located a complete engine out of a TD6 that is either from a 1951 or 1952. Is there anyone who can tell me for sure if this engine will bolt right into the ID-6 that I have. I have not seen the engine as it is far away, so I want to be sure it is right befor I go get it. Thanks.

The block is the same but you will need to change the mounting plate on the rear of the engine. You may also need to change the front timing cover. To my knowledge the TD6 crank will accept the WD6 flywheel so there shouldn't be any challenges there.

I had an ID6 with a bad block and put one in from a td6 only had to change front mount as they were different but interchangeable.Nice trctors, tough too! Hoss
