F 12 fuel pump problems

Hi guys-hopeing for some good news here.I rebuilt my fuel pump and it works good.Problem is the push rod from the cam moves very little.Cam lobe wore out?I hope not.Thanks Mike

Take out and measure the fuel pump push rod, it should be 7 inches long.

MCT,Dont loose any sleep over it,Do as Andy says,Ive had several of them the same way,actually I built mine up to 615/16 and the pump,pumped so much you could see it swirl in the bowl

HI guys I did measure the rod and it is 7 inches.The rod against the cam goes in and out only about 3/8 of a inch.Is that normal?Thanks

Sounds normal to me,Check arm on pump,how do you know its not pumping enough
