I hate to admit defeat on getting my Grandpa's F20 running after last used in about 1969, but finally called in some help in the form of a true gentleman I have bought some parts from for it. We live about 35 miles or so apart, I got a rebuilt carb and mag from him. I dropped the pan and cleaned the oil lines, etc on the bottom end. Anyhow, he came up and got it after I was running out of time this summer. Valve train is junk, lifters were stuck and rocker arm assembly was totally rusted up, he did tell me that even had I pulled the valve cover I still would have ended up seeing him several more times. He has enough F20 parts that the rocker assembly has been replaced, he works in a machine shop so able to clean up the rest. I have one cutting of grass hay left to do, IF the weather will ever straighten up. Plan to put it on the rake, and maybe the NH 310 square baler to make it work a little. Most of this cutting will be big rounds, so just a few smalls. DOUG
