To jump start a 6v positive ground battery on my cub do you put positive to positive and negative to negitive or positive to negative and negative to positive. Also will a hand crank from an A fit a cub. If not does anyone have one for sale. Any help would be much appreciated.

THANKS AGAIN
Terry

To jump a positive ground system you should put negative to negative and positive to a ground on the tractor like a bolt or the frame but not directly to the battery, for it will cause some serious arking.

It should not be arcing unless you are jumping a 6 volt battery with 12 volts. When using the starter it may arc if you have a poor connection.
