H drawbar (again)

What's the distance (on an H) from the ground to the drawbar when the swinging drawbar is attached? TIA

Drawbar height is adjustable with the diagonal support rods at the sides of the loop drawbar...notice the many holes where the support is bolted to the drawbar.

Drawbar height can be adjusted with the swinging drawbar attached? With one end bolted to the tractor, I didn't think it would be adjustable.

The pin that the drawbar swings on doesn't fit tightly and it is quite a ways ahead so a change in height doesn't affect it very much.

Can't answer your question with one answer. Tire size makes a difference. Early H tractors used a angle that drawbar attaches to below axle about 1 inch longer than later ones, drawbar brace was longer also so depends which you have. Axle clamps could be turned up or down to change height and as already pointed out the braces could be moved to a different hole, 4 holes on early drawbars and five adjustment holes on later ones.

that's why the hole in the front of the swinging drawbar is way bigger than the pin that holds it in place, so it has room to pivot up and down.
