farmall bucket

i have 2 questions,1.my 1968 farmall 504 pto stays engaged all the time,how do i adjust the bands to stop this?and i just vbought a bucket that is a direct fit but it has 3 hydraulic lines and i have only 2 quick hitch connections what do i do with the 3rd connection?

Gordon: The PTO lever has a paul to lock it out. Linkage from the lever can be adjusted, to give better braking of shaft. If the brake won't stop the shaft, the PTO is probably due for a rebuild.

On the loader, how many hydraulic remote control valves does your tractor have? Just because you only have two quick couplers, doesn't mean a lot, you could have hydraulic outlets with a plug in them. This loader and hydraulic plumbing thing is a hard one to resolve without photos. Do you have a photo, close ups or hydraulics would be best.
 
on the tractor there is 2 quick couplers on the right by your right foot and 2 on the left.the loader has 3 lines 2 of which are larger and the same as the remotes and hooked to the valve body where it says in and out.the third line is smaller and comes out of thebottom middle of the valve body.

sounds a little like your loader could be set up for a power beyond, or remote pump system. are there control valves or a joystick mounted to the loader frame? there are seemingly hundreds of ways to plumb a loader, and yours could be set up any one of those ways, and that makes many more wrong ways of doing so. the more info, descriptions, and photos you have will help us help you.

Gordon: That loader has it's own control valve. There is probably 5-6 right ways to hook it up, probably a dozen wrong ways. You haven't answered my question on how many remote control valves the tractor has. Since this loader is new to this tractor, and you seem new to both, I think we need photos. I doubt if we resolve anything without.
