Can anyone provide me with the procedure for replacing the rear wheel bearings on an IH/Farmall Cub? Any help is appreciated....Thanks!

Take off the little cap on the inside of the final drive then remove the nut and the axle will slide out. You will have to remove the bottom pan to put back together so you can hold the bull gear to get the shaft back together.

Like John said the bearings are pressed on ! If the bearings are bad make sure and install new seals at this time, they go on the axle first then the bearing.

The seals arn't cheap but you know if you don't change them they will leak after it all put back together.

This is a real easy job.

I want to thank you gentlemen for the excellent advice. I got the axle out without too much difficulty. This site is worth it's weight in gold! Thanks, again, all the best to you.
