i broke the lever that engages the the pto on my bn farmall it broke right at the hole drilled in the lever. How hard is it to remove and repair, I need this information as soon as possible.

Oldtractorman: When mine broke, I removed the qu broken pieces, stuck the long part back in. All this in the field and I kept on going. On a rainy day some time later I drilled a new hole in lever put in a new pin.

You mite want to loosen up the slotted head by the shift lever as it loads the spring that holds the lever in its position then the hub where the lever broke will move out a little to help remove the broken piece.

I had the same problem on my A. Just grabbed a piece of round stock, drilled a hole, and put a slight bend in it to roughly match the original. not too fussy.
