HELP WITH T-6 CRAWLER SERIAL NUMBER

I am hoping to find an early T-6 or TD-6 crawler. There is a local example of a T-6 with a serial number (on the data plate) of TBKI4788T7CL. Any body have any idea what the date may be? Doesn't seem to make any sense to me! Thanks.

So does this mean she is a 1940 model? 5 digit serial number but less than 17373. She has a gas engine and could easily be this date based upon her condition! any help greatly appreciated.
