When you resuface the block and the cyl.head do you use a special head gasket or do you machine the piston dome down?

When ya DECK the block ya only take off what ya need to get it strightened out and then ya have to RECUT the counter bores to get the sleeves to set where they belong . And no you do not cut the pistons down or use a thicker head gskt. Normaly your only talken here .008-maybe on a real bad one .012 off the block and about the same off the head. , but here the kicker ya don't know for sure how many times the head has been done . SOOOOOoooo don't worry about it and put it together the best ya can . Set everything up as the book calls for fit each piston to the bore that it is going inot and give .004 skirt to wall clearance don't plow with it grind feed chop silage or corn with it don't disc with it till ya have over aleast 30 plus hours of break in time change oil after the first ten hours then again at twenty hours then at fifty hours use only a low ash 30 weight and run the 93 octane gas in her and she will be fine.
