IH 424 parts/ engine identification

The condenser on my '67 424 went out, so I need to put a condenser and a set of points in it. My problem is, I can't find and local Case/ IH dealers, and none of the local tractor dealers can/ will order the parts for me. So, I called CarQuest. They can probably order the stuff for me, but their book doesn't list a 424. The book goes from 404, to 414, then to 450. He said if I could identify which engine is in the tractor, he may be able to look the parts up that way.

Does the 424 share an ignition system or engine with any other IH equipment?

The points and cond. should be the same as a 404

The 424 has the C-135 engine. Points and condenser should be the same as all the IH tractors with battery ignition. You can get the correct parts by calling 1-866-FARMALL. (327-6255) This is C&G in Wisconsin, an IH dealer.

Should have also said you can get the parts from this site by going to the tractor parts listing in the lefthand side bar.
