Anyone attend the "Dust Bowl" oops, I mean the Rock River Thresheree this past weekend? What can be done about the dust??? It was down right unpleasant. I've been to other shows without much grassy area but I've never seen anything like this.

Welcome to reality. Dry time of year with crushed lime stone equals lots of dust. They tried very hard to keep it down with a water truck. If it rained you would of complained about all the mud this turns into when wet.

Add near drought conditions, clay soil, and six hundred tractors and what do you think happens? Thresheree was bringing in water from Edgerton constantly to wet down the grounds (that's what the fire truck with the 427 and cherry bomb mufflers was doing- spraying down the grounds, believe there was another wagon out there as well.

I was born and raised in rural areas, dust is always an issue. I guess the old iron holds a higher priority than a little dust.

One of the tractors was helping with dust control, too!
