replacing 756 engine

i was wondering if a engine from a IH 615 combine would bolt up in a 756 tractor i no that the HP will be lower but the combine motor was rebuilt about 600hrs age

If you use the engine as a "long block" assembly and transfer all the tractor parts from your current engine over, I'm pretty sure it will work.

Spent a good many hours in my teens researching repowering a 756... Combine engines, German diesels, Cummins repower kits... We finally installed a D360 diesel out of an old prison bus.
