From positive to negative ground

I have done a few searches on the internet about this but I want to make sure I get it right. Do I have to change anything on the generator or voltage regulator? I know I have to switch the connections on the coil. Along with swaping how the battery is connected, is there anything else?

Two things more to do:

1 - Swap all wiring between the two ammeter posts. (The charging system will work fine if the wiring is left "as is" but the ammeter will read backward...)

2 - Repolarize the generator. (With the battery connected and before starting the engine momentarily jumper the BAT and GEN terminals at the voltage regulator.)

better check the regulator to see which ground it is designed for most will say on the bottom which ground.
