I bought a 350D on an auction Sat. It has a ping or snapping sound to it when it runs, It runs great but has this noise. It doesn't sound like a rod or main knock. All I know about the tractor is that the pump was rebuilt. (professionally)It sounds like its in the head area. I pulled the valve cover off and everything looks and sounded good when I ran it with it off. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Wade did that come from the Kinze sale?

If so how did that sale go? I wanted to go but other issues came first.

Yes it did, sale went slow with all the manufacturing items selling first, taking 1/2 the day. Some antique tractors went moderately high, with a real nice Super H selling for 7150.00. The 350D went ok knowing it had issues.
I didn't stay for the big farm equip as was late aft. by the time the antiques sold. I was just wondering if anybody had any ideas b/4 I tore into it.

t is probably just an injector popping open with the extra pressure that the fresh pump is putting out. Check your injector lines and make sure they are all tightened properly.
