This is the new SA I bought, my sickle bar is off now for new parts/ paint, but, can you tell me what type of mower I have? (pitman or balanced) Thanks!

The pitman (as mentioned below) is the little counter-weighted wheel with the "connecting rod" on it, and the connecting rod. They are fine, and last well. No issues. Great looking SA! Very nice. JimN

If you plan on doing some mowing you will need to change the wheels around so ya can mow without the wheel sitting out so far. Yours has the foot pedal and square front axle makes it different from the standard A.

The square tube front axle and foot throttle would make that an International Super A, not a Farmall Super A.

I see the store is "Open". What is it that you peddle back there in the woods? A little shine?

Great photo, put a copy in me personal album of the best of tractor photos.

I enjoyed looking at your new SA. I may need another one so where do you live and what time do you go to bed?

Mine is a 1948 and I like seeing what differances there are in the two. Liked seeing the rockshaft arm that lifts the mower, differant from what I have seen before. Front wheels/rims mount differant as well. Tie rods are the same as 1948 so I guess it was in 1950 they changed them.

No lid for the battery box? OEM has them if you need one. They have the tool box too if you want to add that.

Whoever has this tractor must have kept it inside.

Thanks for showing your new tractor.
