Looking for any info on a set of F&H 40" round spokes #hc48c.

what do you need to know other than the fact tires are hard to find and expensive for 40 inchers??

How common are the 40" wheels, were they for high crop versions? Can anyone tell me about what I could expect to pay for a good set?

I don't know exactly what they are worth, but if I were considering a set of 40" rims, I'd make sure that I can still get 40" tires, they are very hard to find.

40's were just an option later on. i perosnally would stay away from them just for the fact thet tires are gonna run you about the same price as buying a decent tractor. ive got 36's on mine and tires are easier and cheaper to find

Miller has them, but they aint cheap!

unless you can use 9-40 tires you will have a hard time finding tires. I have an Oliver 80 that had 11-40 tires and cant find them

hmmm My 36" F+H round spokes also have the HC48C casting on the center. Must be for the center and not the spokes. Like others have said Millers has new 40" rubber, Radials I believe. Have you thought about trying to find a set of 36's round spokes? At the time I was able to buy 36" rims and new tires for less than a set of new 40" rubber.
