new rear wheels

Hello, I have purchased a new set of rear wheels for my MD and guess what they are wider centers so now I need to change the bolts out of the hub and was wondering if any of you knew the easiest way to do this? Any help you can give I would appreciate it. Thanks

Not sure what you mean -- you may have the 450 cast center and your old drop center rims -- they are not compatible, you need double bevel rims and the accompanying clamps.

I have a new set of double bevel rims the center hump of the rim is wider then the original so I need to put longer bolts in the clamps. what I need to know is if the original bolts are threaded in or just pushed through the holes. the fit the center just fine but they are aftermarket new replacements for a M. When I install them they fit fine just the bolts are to short to get a nut on the clamp.

I have not seen what you have, but the original bolts had nuts, and were just pushed through the holes. Also, double bevel means two "humps", either of which can be used to attach to the hub, allows different rim spacings on the wheel. Sounds to me like you have a "drop center" rim with a little wider drop. If so, be sure you get them tight and check after running a while that nothing has moved. Also, be sure that the rim has the horizontal bars welded on that keep the rim from slipping on the hub.
