IH MTA won't turn over

I have a International Harvester MTA tractor, I changed the coils on it and now it won"t turn over...any ideas on why this is and/or how I can fix it?

AFAIK, these tractors only had one ignition coil...and I don't know why the coil would keep the engine from cranking ["turning over"]. Are you saying it won't even turn over with the hand crank?

Sounds like you've got other problems.

Your coil has nothing to do with the cranking of the engine. The coil is used in the igniion for starting. For cranking you need a good battery, battery cables and a starter. If you have battery ignition your coil requires battery voltage in order for your engine to start. Hal

If you mean it won't roll over with the starter, perhaps the starter is stuck. Remove or loosten starter bolts and wiggle it. May also be bad battery connection. If still 6 volt, all connections have to be very clean and cables heavy.

Check your battery cable connections and double check all your wiring. Does it turn with the crank? If it does and all the wiring and cables are alright, then you might have something wrong with the starter.
