SA w/ mid-mount sickle mower

I just bought a 1949 SA that has recently been cosmetically restored. tractor runs good, new tires, new paint etc...now I have a chance to buy a mid mount sickle-bar (seller calls it a highway mower), all mounted for an additional $750 (mounted/ ready to mow), is this reasonbable?

Is it a pitman or balanced head?

If it's a pitman type, the price is reasonable (if it's in good shape).

If it's a balanced head, the price is about $1000 too low... or at least I wouldn't let go of mine for less than $1750 or so.

around hear you can buy a complete unrestored A for that kind of money.
in my opinion thats way to high. but its your money if you want the mower go for it

that price might in-line for where your located
