Hi everyone: I just wanted to post a couple of pictures of my son's tractor. We picked this 1949 Farmall C up 4 years ago in South Dakota. Michael was excited to get one and worked hard on it with grandpa Wayne and myself (Dad, Mark). We had it ready for the big show in 2005. This last week, he took the rusted out hulk of the corn cultivator we had and he transformed it to what you see now. Grandpa and I are both proud of his efforts. Come to Dalton, MN for the LRPTA show next week and you will see him there showing it off!<a href="http://s233.photobucket.com/albums/ee79/bigswen85/?action=view&current=DSCN0152.jpg" target="_blank">

By the way...if anyone has an extra pinch clamp for mounting the shank of a shovel to the cultivator bar, he needs one more to complete everything. We have the shovel, but need one clamp to mount it. Let me know what you may have!

Good job. It's a real nice touch to have an implement like the cultivator along with the tractor. Sounds like quality time was had by all.

This is Grandpa writing; My grandson, Michael, did a super job cleaning & painting every single part of the cultivator. We completely disassembled all parts, de-rustified(?) and then painted each part before re-assembly. Michael did all the painting & Grandpa just helped as needed. (I broke 2 bones in my r. foot last Sat. so wasn't as helpful as could have been).
Thank you to all who chimed in answering Michaels color scheme request last week. He researched the Wisconsin Historical site & just about wore out his parts & assembly manual for the cultivator.

Hey Michael,
Wow, that is one good looking tractor!!!! But, that is also one handsome dude standing beside the tractor. Oh, the girls will be watching you in school this year. Have fun in Dalton and tell Grandpa to watch his feet and not get them under anything. UFTA !!!!

That is so awesome Michael! You are such a talented and dedicated young man. I am very proud of you and miss you lots. Maybe you could ride the tractor out here to California when you have about 12 months free.........or how fast does that thing go? Love ya.

cool mich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
