After using the c, i parked it , tried to start it up yesterday, now it wont start.It turns over but it wont fire.I have a magneto , and i get no spark. Before this it was working great.What should i check first to finf out whats the problem. Thanks George
 
Im NOT an IHC Mag guy but Id still suspect the ignition points. Try to clean/buff/polish them and set the gap correctly n see if she fires?? If badly burned or pitted or carboned up, Id replace them althougn a light filing with a points file may get you going.

Something that happens that fast, I would suspect a wire. Check your on/off switch or disconnect it and see if it will fire. The switch may be grounding the mag. Make sure center mag wire is secure.
 
Clean the points with some 320 wet or dry until shiny.. Check the point gap should be .013". If there's still no fire after doing this. Replace the condenser and see if there's any fire and if it will start. If there's still no fire the coil could be weak. The magnets may have weak magnetism. Hal

I agree. That fast and I would suspect a wire or bad switch. mike
