Where does hydraulic fluid go on a 674??

Fluid is low and i need to know where the filler is and whats the best fluid.Thanks

I don't know about the 674 specifically but my experience with old tractors in general is that it goes all over the underside of the tractor and on the ground.

Not positive on this, but on our 685 and 885 there is a pipe plug on the rear behind the seat and above the top link hook up. To check the level, the dipstick is behind your left leg sitting on the tractor.

Hi Martin, Use IH HyTran hydraulic fluid or equivalent.
