B Farmall wont run with choke open

I've been away for close to a couple of weeks, so I've lost track.

Seem to recall you've been working on it ????

What you describe is either too little gas (line restrictions, or float or other carb problem) or too much air (vacuum leak above the carb, at the carb/manifold joint, or where the manifold bolts up to the head).

Anything changed/been doin' any work in those areas lately?

Just had that problem on a tractor Sunday. You most likely have a fuel flow problem or a clogged carb. I would start by pulling the carb drain plug and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas from it. If you don't then work back to the tank to find where it stops. If you have a good flow then pull the main jet plug and spray carb cleaner into it with the drain plug out. Then put the plug back in ans spray it some more. Then drain the carb out and put the drain back in and give it a try. If it runs well then you probably have it licked if not you will probably need to rebuild the carb
