does anyone have a wiring diagram for an h with magento ignition and to switch from positive to negitive ground do i just flip the battey when i put the alternator in

NO!! He has a magneto. There will be no connection to the magneto -- Bob M's diagrams do not show that particular application.

Believe in Bob M, he is the man. No mag ignition changes should be made at all, they are never connected to the charging system. The wire that may have gone from the generator F to the light switch, is a charging system wire that is not used with an alternator. Light bulbs will all need to be changed to avoid having them be very bright for 10 seconds. JimN
