Need Help with IH injection pump PLEASE

On my MD, it runs and seems to run decent but I have no fuel pressure at the gauge. Photo shows pressure at HIGH idle

I have already changed fuel filter. I do have a custom filter setup as shown in this pic.

I have good pressure going into the plunger fitting but hardly any showing on the gauge. I also have a bunch of pressure going into the return line. This pump is a TD-14 pump mounted on a 1947 MD. What are some things that I am overlooking. I know about all the fuel over the side rail and everywhere else.
Thanks

Brad

Brad just how big is the hole in that hose that you are coming from the filte to the primary with IF that id. of that hose is not that same size as the org. tube then you may have a restriction and this will cause low vol. to the pump and act like a plugged filter Now if this is not the case then i would guess that the plunger is on the weak side and needs replaced.I have and idea on what your trying to do here and you might need to have that pump tested on a stand to see just what it is doing.

sometimes I will have good pressure and that will hold for a few months. then it goes away for a awhile also. I do need to have all the internal seals replaced so maybe I will just take the pump off and have it redone. I have 1/4" ID hose feeding the pump. It is sending plenty of fuel up the return so I believe that I have enough fuel getting to the pump.

I took the gauge off and all I had was a very slow drip. Very easy to block off with my finger so there is no pressure. wehre is the relief valve located.

There are two, one in the plunger assy. and one in the primary pump. The one in the pump is the usual culprit. Take the primary pump off the back of the main pump, it comes off with two bolts. If you are familiar with gear pumps it"s pretty self-explanatory, or my e-mail if open if you have questions.
