Tires for my Super C

I have recently purchased a '51 Super C and it needs tires. The rears are 11.2x36 and I am told by the local supplier these are no longer available. Can anyone put me in touch with a supplier or perhaps you have a decent set you want to sell.

I am sure they are still available. they are not a common size, so they are expensive, and hard to find used.I have 12.4x36 on my super c, I like them better than the 11.2. Good luck.

you can tell your dealer he's full of bullcrap!!!- just put on two about three months ago. co-op had them but was higher than tucker tire and they droped them off at my front door!

Goodyear stopped making them before Titan took them over, don't know it Titan brought them back. As stated I think Firestone still has them Also, some center pivot sprinkler systems use them, there are minor differences.

Nebraska Tire Company, Firth, Nebraska has 11.2X36 for $220.00 each. HTH

Bad tire dealer you can get TITANS for around 225 I would check around for prices as the other post says Nebraska Tire also has some good prices. Just because one dealer dont know always ask another as some people just aint in the ball game.

They are available.

My advice from experience, however, is don't get Titans.

m.e. Miller tire (www.miller.com) lists Firestones, Titans, and Alliants. in 12.4-36 and 13.6-36. Also lists in size 11.2-36.

I bought Titans for my JD 70 about 9 years ago. Haven't been worked hard or abused and just had to repalace one because the bead separated from the casing. Also, they are already showing cracks. I have Firestone Field and Roads on my other tractors and they have been great.

Any decent dealer can get you tires for your Super C. The guy you talked to didn't want to bother or maybe they weren't available in the only brand he carried.
