Will Belt pulley drive from 300 Farmall fit H ??

Sold a 45 H that I had setting in a shed and the buyer wants a belt pulley drive on it. I have a complete rear half of 300 Farmall with a drive unit on it and looks similar from outside but wondering if the TA changed the drive at all. Is it a direct fit or do I have to stick with H or Super H? Thanks

I'm thinkin' that they are the same. The part number for the complete assembly for an H is 51489DB, but the 300 probably has a number ending with an R or R1, and I don't know how to compare those numbers.

My Dad couldn't get one from an H to fit a 350. I don't know if the 350 having a TA made a difference or not. I was only 11 at the time so it was a long time ago. It was a dealer that tried to make the swap.

Some or most belt pulley gear box castings for H tractors don't have depressions to clear T/A housing cover bolts. In later years belt pulley attachments sold for H used the same belt pulley gear box housing as later tractors.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will pull it off the 300 as it is easy to get off and then let the older gent try to put it on. migraine
