I recently replaced the spider gears in our 1466. It went back together great but now the pto wont work. I'm thinking some oil passage may be clogged but cant seem to find it. Any ideas??

Well there is no hyd. passages for the PTO from the main Hyd. system as the PTO has it's owen pump . SOOOooo my guess is (1) ya banged the pickup tube on the PTO when ya either removed it or when ya put it back in and now it lost it's seal or (2) the tiny little pin in the PTO valve stem has broken and this is now working the valve and thus the PTO will not work . SO be fore ya drain out all the oil and pull the PTo unit first remove the valveout the bottom as tis is the only way that the WHOLE valve will come out and see if you have one long valve or a two pice valve if the latter then the pin is broke and you will need to pay a visit to your friendly Case I H store and get a new pin and a couple O/Rings . Then ya need the special test fitting to hook up a gauge that will read 600 lbs. and set the pressure at 265 and lock the top nut and your good to go. Now if the valve is NOT the problem then time to pull the unit and see if ya banged the pick up tube and it is loose in it's bracket and repair and replace the seal.
