B Farmall high speed adjustment

Have in wide open position running cant get high idel on governor to make any difference seems to be running at half speed. Any help thanks

Are the springs at the end of the throttle rod adjusted properly. Can make a big difference in operation of throttle and gov. Henry

I rebuild the gov housing by rebushing the inputshaft. There is no adjustments of the springs on the throttle shaft. You mite need a new spring and thrust bearing in the gov housing. With engine off take the pin out of the yoke going to the carb. Now open the throttle and holding the carb open adjust the yoke so the pin goes in the gov arm. Then hi-speed can be adjusted by the capscrew on top of the gov housing.
