any body know how much a food condition 8776 distillate head is worth

Less than a gas only head by about 1/2. Unless a person is doing a full restoration to original, they are the heads taken off and melted, being replaced by gas only to raise compression. I would say if ready to run, about 150, if ready to rebuild, $50. Opinion from not needing one. JimN

The 8776 isn't a bad head. I always got $150.00 as they came off of the tractor. If you ran step head pistons there is very little difference in power output from a gas head.
