2656 IH Ind. tractor

I am thinking about buying a 2656 IH Ind. tractor. It has not been used in about 4yrs., but has been started in the last 2yrs. I was looking at the back of the tractor to see if you could rig up a 3pt. hitch. You can put lifting arms on it, but there is not a place to hook up a top link. Does anyone have an idea how this could be done?

Above the PTO I'm guessing you have a blank plate (rectangular, with 4 bolts) where the top link bracket would go. Find a bracket (part number 396334R11) and replace the plate with the bracket. Beware there is a gasket behind it.

I found this out using the parts catalog on www.caseih.com.
