did the super h stage II have a dipstick in it from factory

I don't think they did, but I may be wrong, it was a option though. My Dad's very late SMTA does not have a oil dipstick.

wouldn"t have had a dip stick from the factory but could have been added. the motor block serial number on your tractor should be 21963.
it will be stamped into a raised "boss" on the block below # 3 spark plug, it will be stamped by hand so the numbers might be a little crooked. let me know if I"m right about the block serial number, would also like to know what state you live in, seems like alot of the tractors in your serial number range ended upin the midwest, mostly Iowa, Minn and Neb.

Well now you got me thinkin', I bought a replacement for my stage I at the RPRU, and can't even remember if it had the two oil check pitcocks in it or not. I grew up with a regular H and M. Checked those pitcocks a million times, even twisted one off once when I turned it the wrong way. Man dad was ticked off!!!

I hsve s very late SHII and it has a dipstick on the right side of the pan.

the weird thing is that the pan has the petocks on it to the dipstick runs through the block
