1952 Farmall Super M

I was wondering if anyone could help me with an engine question about a farmall super m. What was stock horsepower in 1952 and what is normal compression and how low before I need a rebuild?

44 hp and 5-1/2 to 1 compression. This out of the manual. Your looking for a cylinder presure #. That # isn't in my book, i'm guessing based on my 52 Super M that it is around 100 to 130 psi per cylinder.

I put a 450 gas head on a stock rebuild last year and it was 150 psi and that head had 1/16 cut off the deck.

Yours will be less unless it is a L.P tractor.
