All this talk about lights has me thinking again...

Where can I find a 6V flasher module and 6V amber warning lights?

I'd like to put some flashing hazard lights on the fenders of my Super A for "roading" it.

You should be able to find some hazard lights that will allow you to just swap the bulb to a 6 volt. Don"t know about the flasher unit. I"d be tempted to find out if maybe a 12 volt unit might still function with 6 volts.

Most "heavy duty" 12 volt flashers will work fine on 6 volts.

All the flasher cares about is the current passing thru it, not the system voltage. So a (2) 6 volt stop/turn bulbs "looks" the same as (4) 12 volt stop/turn bulbs to the flasher. And it will flash 'em just fine.

Case still lists the fender mounting bracket that was used on a 140 for the hazard lights. It would work on a SA too.

Left hand part # 394134R1
Right hand part # 547149R1

They may have the 6 volt hazard lights but I didnt check. I was working on a 12V 140 and had the other info available.

Napa still carrys the 6 volt flashers for the old Volkswagons, I would imagine other parts stores do to.
The lights can be had on ebay on several sellers stores.
