Anyone know what this bracket was used for that's attached to my Farmall F-20? Does not look to be farmer made.

Ignore the homemade PTO shaft in the picture. It's the bracket bolted to the bottom of the axle I have no idea about.

Jim, If I remember correctly, I think it is the bottom mounting bracket for the elevator on a 22B corn picker. There were several brackets that had to be bolted to the tractor prior to puting the picker on. I remember the drawbar and the pto extension had to come off and the elevator bracket bolted on those bolts. Consider this an uneducated guess cause hell I can't remember what I did last week

I will get wife to take pic and see if we can get it on for you to see asap keep watching link I will give you a shout.

SproutW,

The bracket is for the center gangs of an IH 2 row cultivator. I’ve got a 221 cultivator in my 36 F20 with the same bracket. It may possibly be utilized for other applications also.

Thanks Scott and greatly appreciate the picture. With Vern's help I imagine that bracket was used on a couple different implements. Now I just need to find a cultivator.

The brackets on your B were used for rear tooling on the cultivator or also used for fertilizer and also planter drive assys so there were three different uses for them. If they are the heavy dity ones they were used to attach a rear middle buster would have to see a pic to know which type you have.
