Farmall H Serial Number ??

Ive recently found a Farmall H, 1939 Model, The Serial Number has some letters then it is 501-3. Ive heard of Hs with the serial number but never a dash then another number behind it, what does that number mean, or stand for? Is it possible that you have found the very first Farmall H to roll off the assembly line? Although I am under the impression that the first few Hs did not have a serial tag, but instead had the number stamped into the top of the right hand frame rail?

I have a 39 M sn 529 and it does not have a serial tag and no evedence there ever was one. It does have the serial number on the frame rail, FBK 529 a way to tell too if it is a real early one is to go by casting codes. all the codes match on my M and they are 7-10-I I would guess if that H is that low of number the casting codes would be real close to that.
