Need 656 gas dipstick

Hello,
I have been looking for a dipstick for my father-in-laws 656 farmall gas. Somehow he lost it. If anyone knows where to find one, please let me know. Apology in advance if this is not the place to post this. Thanks.

Did you try the CIH dealer?

I believe the part number is 381427R93, @ about $27.00.

Scott, if you wanted someone here to say, "Hey I've got one I'll sell you," and then sell it to you, then yes, this was the wrong place to post. That would be a wanted ad, and there is a special section for wanted ads.

If you are looking for suggestions as to where to look for a replacement, then this is the right place to ask that question.

A dipstick off any 6-cylinder IH gasoline-powered tractor will fit. There are many such tractors in various states of being parted out at salvage yards all over the country. All you need to do is find your local salvage yard in the yellow pages and give them a call.
