Punch below for a few photos from the Canandaigua (NY) "Pageant of Steam" this past weekend.

The weather was less than ideal (frequent heavy showers the day I visited). Consequently the parade, plowing and threshing demo's, etc. could not be run. But there was still plenty to see

Altogether it was a good show this year!

Looks like it was a good show... I didnt realize the show was last weekend. Ill be going to the Alexander steam show. First weekend in Sept.?

Bob: Nice photos as usual, now what happens in upstate NY the week of Sept 14th to 20th. We are going to Kingston for the weekend of 13th, then on to Ottawa on the 14th. I thought we might swing south of Lake Ontario for the journey back home. I originally thought I had this timed for Alexander. Is there anything a interesting for that week?

Hugh - Only event in our neighborhood after the Alexander steam show is the 2 Cylinder Club/Stokoe Farms fall plow day, Sunday Sept 28.

Hugh, the Churchville Country Fair is the weekend of the 16th and 17th. As I recall there's a bit of a tractor show going on there.

Clarificatioin: The Churchville Fair is THIS coming weekend (Aug 16 & 17...)

Churchville is a pretty good show BTW. Had over 120 old tractors on display last year. And the Sunday pull has become one of the largest antique tractor pulls in the state.

Bob: Since the event I'm going to in Kingston is a wedding, it's highly unlikely I'll be able to get the Bride and Groom to change their date. Given the fact the Bride is becomming our daughter in law, I best keep my mouth shut.

Besides the new mother in law to be, gets a bit upset if she thinks I'm trying to turn every outing into a tractor event. I best just go along and be happy I met all the new in laws.
