Anybody else get this kind of mail. Bank says we have 4000 points from credit card that is paid end of every month. Offering $400 no strings attached. Bank says credit service is doing this, not really the bank. Should I ask lawyer or have you tried this. Seriously SUSPICIOUS! Thanks again.
 
Reply you will take the money. See what the next step is. Just don't ever SEND money to someone to get money.

Thanks Gordo, I learned that from the savings bond scam in the Navy in 1965. It was a chain letter sort of thing. Everybody was sure we would all be rich. However................. We got a lot smarter.

Dave: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Do NOT give them any personal, banking, or card account information if they ask for it. Their asking for that kind of information is a sure sign of a scam. (Your bank and/or your card issuer already have your file information and they do not need to ask you for any more.) mike
