Found this diamond plate IH tag on Ebay for $7 shipped, I had to buy it. Now I believe I need to find an IH frame to go with it. 8)

The "Guest" must be from the Ford forum... Seeing an IH license plate on a Chevrolet drove them over the edge! Kinda sad actually.

I fine black print at the bottom of the plate, it does say "INTERNATIONAL TRUCK". I omitted that detail for the die-hard IH tractor fans 8) 8) 8) ...

Trail Cutter Radial R/T 285/75 R16, 8 ply. My tire man said they are built by Cooper Tire and they do say MADE IN THE USA on them. I am impressed with the treadlife. They have over 30,000 miles on them and still have more than half the original tread. Not bad for an on/off road tire. What I like about them is that they have enough traction in soft conditions, but do not howl like the Buckshot's I previously had on the truck.

John M, these are for your viewing pleasure.

(quoted from post at 20:52:50 08/07/08) That is a clean flatbed, when was the picture taken? Is that an early 50's?

Charles

1951 L-120 with 63,000 miles on it currently. I am the second owner. We put the flatbed on to mount some engines for parades, went to a few parades and now I've moved away from the farm... I hope to put the box back on it in the next few years and give it a proper restoration. I'll use the flatbed to make a trailer for engines to pull behind it. Picture was taken around 1998.

Nice!!! The only thing better would be a 3-pt hitch on an International Harvester Truck... Just a thought.
