misalligned farmall hood

I posted a question and then a short vacation with a loss of computer functions. If you would look and respond again, please...

I"ve freshened up paint on most of the H but the good has never fit right. Seems too short. Where if any place can I make adjustments...radiator or fuel tank? One or both needs to move to make the hood fit...where should I start? Thanks, Dan
 
Are you sure the radiator and shroud are the original. My '40 A had the same short hood issue. Then I found the original radiator and shroud behind my father-inlaws barn. the original had a transition piece to support the hood for a butt alignment to the grill part.
