I'm looking for an original Auxillary Gas tank pet cock for a 1949 Farmall M distillate in good usable condition. It would seem that the only ones available now come with the small filter bowl and not just a tap. Any help would be really appreciated. MTF

I have a pet rabbit they"re alot quieter and won"t fly away. Sorry I just couldn"t resist.

Is that like a, chicken? or...? Sorry dude, I have no petcocks for sale. Have you tried Ebay? I have a used 12 GPM hydraulic pump for sale on there from a Farmall 504. It will fit many other models too.

steiners has the sediment bowl for the distallate, but not the valve for the starting tank. you may need to go to a plumbing supplier or some one like mcmaster carr to see if you can find the valve. i think it s 1/4 inch male pipe into the tank and 1/8 or 3/16 compression fitting to the sediment bowl. if not try bates corp in bourbon indiana, thay may have a good used one, or mike at steel wheel ranch.

Check your local lawnmower repair place. I found one pretty close to the original one on my M. Painted red, nobody has noticed it yet, and I even forget from time to time where it came from, just by looking at it.
