still no brakes on my IHC 856 this morning i took the MCV out of a 1066 that i know is workin, still no brakes, steering hasnt improved any , i decided to work the tractor for about 4 hours on 20 foot tandem disc, to warm the tractor up good but no difference, hydraulics work good lifting the disc, when i try to bleed brakes it gives a little spurt of oil then nothing same with the other brake. i appreciate the feedback i got so far but need more ideas what i must be missing. make a shot in the dark i will check it out, thanks guys.

RIVIR After setting 2 3 years it is hard to say. could be the pump behind the MCV, could be the little nylon check behind the MCV lower back cornner. You must not have manual brakes, so you must not have oil in the brake valves or the brakes need rebuilt. You should have manual brakes. Here is the test (with engine off , push one brake pedal as far as it will go, then push the other the first pedal should move farther, then reverse the test, same should happen). If not you check the brakes to see all is good in side.
