F20-F30 starter

I found a starter assamble for a F20 (flywheel with ring gear and the housing that the starter bolts). will the starter assamble fit the F30 or are they different a size? Has any one found a gear reduction starter to turn over the F20? Can any one out there pour new cast strater assamble and the ring gear flywheel? thanks

No, it won't fit, the F-20 and F-30 use a different flywheel and clutch housing.

I have two electric start F-20s (One with a rebuilt engine) and do not have any problems turning them over without gear reduction. Try having your starter rebuilt.
